Unified Login
SECURITY Master, Superuser, Administrator, Global Administrator
As a Kaseya customer, you may be subscribed to more than one of our IT Complete modules. Rather than keep track of different sets of login credentials for each module, why not use KaseyaOne's Unified Login feature to access your modules?
KaseyaOne Unified Login (otherwise known as Log In with KaseyaOne) is the process of logging in once to KaseyaOne to automatically gain access to the IT Complete modules to which you are subscribed. Once logged in to KaseyaOne, you can seamlessly navigate to any other module, access the unified support, Kaseya Community, Kaseya University, Cooper Intelligence Engine, and so much more besides.
Users are prompted to enter a 2FA token when accessing their KaseyaOne account.
The benefits of using Kaseya Unified Login include the following:
-
Users need only remember one username and password.
-
The process is streamlined and there is no need to re-enter passwords.
-
It enables users to access their IT Complete modules much faster, saving valuable time.
-
It reduces management costs since you are likely to see fewer calls about forgotten passwords.
-
It improves security — it mitigates multiple and unauthorized user accounts; it restricts access using IP Access Control.
In the latest release of Unified Login, note the following key features:
-
All module instances are automatically added to KaseyaOne, appearing in the My Modules widget and App Launcher, after you configure Unified Login for the module instance.
-
You can enable Unified Login for multiple instances of the same module.
-
Push multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available for Unified Login. After you set up push MFA for your KaseyaOne account, it will be the default method used to verify your identity when accessing your KaseyaOne account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) will continue to be available as usual. Refer to Set up push multi-factor authentication.
-
To add an extra layer of security and reduce the amount of credentials in use, you can force users to use KaseyaOne Unified Login to access modules. Refer to Require Log In with KaseyaOne.
-
You can allow just-in-time provisioning and deprovisioning for modules. Refer to Automatic User Creation and Automatic User Deprovisioning.
-
You can configure role-based access control to control access to modules. Refer to Role-based access control.
To set up Unified Login for a module, a module user with the highest permission level (usually Master or Administrator) must enable Log In with KaseyaOne for the module. Refer to Integrate modules with KaseyaOne.
All Master users can enable Unified Login for a module regardless of their group assignment in KaseyaOne — provided one of the following conditions are true:
-
The Master user has the correct module permissions to enable Unified Login within the module AND is a Master user in KaseyaOne AND belongs to a KaseyaOne Group.
-
The Master user has the correct module permissions to enable Unified Login within the module AND is a Master user in KaseyaOne AND does not belong to a KaseyaOne Group.
Unified Login fails and an Access Denied notification is returned when:
-
The Master user has the correct module permissions to enable Unified Login within the module AND is not a Master user in KaseyaOne AND belongs to a KaseyaOne Group.
-
The Master user has the correct module permissions to enable Unified Login within the module AND is not a Master user in KaseyaOne AND does not belong to a KaseyaOne Group.
