US tax FAQ
This article answers common US tax questions.
Kaseya US LLC (KUS) is an affiliate of Kaseya Holdings, Inc. and is the entity that sells Kaseya products to customers in the US.
Kaseya collects address and taxpayer identification number to determine your status as a business and your location. Customers with billing addresses in the US contract with KUS.
Please make sure your billing address and shipping address are correct on your invoice.
KUS is registered to collect sales tax in the following areas:

All customers with billing addresses based in the US will be charged sales tax, as applicable, on all services sold by KUS. Kaseya pricing does not include applicable taxes and customers with billing addresses in US are charged sales tax, as applicable, on all services sold by KUS.
Kaseya’s services are taxable in many states and applicable tax is included on your invoice based on ship to address.
For hardware sold separately and not bundled with software, sales tax will be charged for shipments within the US only (i.e., shipping address in the US).
You will receive an invoice that is inclusive of sales tax. You will see separate line items for applicable sales taxes. Please make sure your billing address and shipping address are correct to ensure your invoices are correct.

If your purchases are for resale, your organization is tax exempt, or your organization has been deemed tax exempt for another reason, please provide your sales tax exemption certificate as described in Request tax exemption for US customers.

Your exemption will remain active until the expiration of your tax exemption certificate. To remain tax exempt, you must submit an updated exemption certificate before the expiration of your current certificate.
