Q2 innovations
Autotask: upgraded firewall and API
We recently completed firewall and storage device upgrades throughout all Autotask data centers to increase database performance.
We've also upgraded our Autotask account query API, used in almost every integration with Autotask. With this upgrade, the API returns search results much more quickly and at a much larger scale than ever before.
Endpoint Backup v2.0: new reporting feature and improved restore resiliency
We've added a new reporting feature, so you can now send backup results directly to your customers The new backup report lets you create, edit, preview, and schedule QBR-style automated reports on the history of backups for an organization.
For details, see Reporting in the UniView Help system.
We’ve made improvements to the reliability and performance of restore operations in Endpoint Backup v2. Restores — whether file & folder or bare metal — now automatically resume from where they left off if interrupted by external network issues, instead of restarting the entire process. This enhancement significantly reduces recovery time in environments with unstable or inconsistent connectivity.
Datto EDR: enhanced search and alerting capabilities for faster results
We’ve introduced powerful new filtering options to the Search page, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you need. Filters now adapt to the item you select in the left navigation, and you can combine multiple filters for more precise results.
The Devices table has also been completely redesigned to provide a cleaner, more customizable experience. You can now filter directly within each column, resize columns to your preferred width, and choose which columns to display — putting you in control of how your data is presented.
We’ve also addressed a usability gap in the redesigned Alerts table. The Source filter now includes the DNS Secure option, allowing you to filter and investigate DNS Secure events just like other alert sources.

Datto RMM Web Remote: enhancements for more resilient, persistent network connections
When you told us Web Remote needed to be more reliable, we got to work.
We've invested in upgrading our infrastructure and expanding our footprint to improve Web Remote performance and reduce load and latency. Our new accelerated two-week release cycle for Web Remote allows us to deliver you enhancements more rapidly. Recent developments have resulted in significant performance improvements, including faster connection times, reduced lag and latency, high connection reliability, and fewer connection issues during remote sessions.
While you work to keep remote workstations up and running, we'll work to deliver you a smooth, stable, and seamless Web Remote experience.
For details, see the 14.3.0 release notes in the Datto RMM Help system.
