Moving to BullPhish ID from KnowBe4, Huntress, or Proofpoint
When moving to Bullphish ID there are key functions that are similar to KnowBe4, Huntress, or Proofpoint that you can easily set up to start using Bullphish ID as soon as possible. See the topics below to set up these key functions in Bullphish ID.
NOTE One notable difference between Bullphish ID and KnowBe4, Huntress, or Proofpoint is that the end users who will be part of phishing and training campaigns are called targets in BullPhish ID. These end users are called learners in KnowBe4, Huntress, and Proofpoint.
Safelisting BullPhish ID
As with KnowBe4, Huntress, or Proofpoint, you will need to safelist BullPhish ID in your email platform to ensure phishing emails reach your targets. See this BullPhish ID article for details by email platform: Safelisting guides.
Organizations, groups, and targets
The companies you do business with and will be deploying BullPhish ID to are called organizations. End users within an organization are called targets. All Targets are required to be associated to an organization and can be imported into BullPhish ID via Active Directory, CSV, or integration with IT Glue.
Targets are sorted into groups, which are then associated with training or phishing campaigns. Groups often represent a department or include targets of the same type, like leadership or individual contributors.

Custom domains
When sending training and phishing campaigns, you may wish to send emails from a custom domain, such as your own. BullPhish ID allows MSPs to use a custom domain when desired, as well as sample domains we make available as part of phishing kits. Phishing and training campaigns
With pre-configured training courses and phishing kits, once you've added organizations and targets to Bullphish ID you can begin scheduling your phishing and training campaigns to begin immediately.
Like KnowBe4, Huntress, or Proofpoint, BullPhish ID also allows you to create custom training kits and courses. This feature lets you build scenarios specific to your needs and customer base, complementing the existing content in BullPhish ID. With BullPhish ID, you can easily create personalized training by copying and pasting pre-built content to replicate your custom materials. In BullPhish ID, content created for your organization (Account Name) becomes accessible to all of your client organizations.
